1/2 lb. lean ground beef
onion powder to taste
salt to taste
black pepper to taste
chili powder to taste
1 (15 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
1/2 box macaroni
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Brown the ground beef in a pan. Drain, then put back in pan along with seasonings.
Add the tomatoes, bring to a boil while cooking the macaroni in another sauce pan until it’s half done.
Drain it and add it to the tomatoes. Cook for another 5 minutes. Transfer it to a large baking dish and cover it with foil.
It can sit out for several hours like this, be refrigerated for up to two days, or frozen a few weeks.
Add cheeses to the top, recover with foil and bake in a 400 degree oven about 15 minutes. Uncover and bake another 5-10 minutes until cheese begins to brown.
