- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 cup quick-cooking oats
- 1/2 cup green pepper, diced
- 1/2 cup celery, diced
- 1/2 cup onion, diced
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 10 3/4 oz Cream of Mushroom soup, undiluted
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- In a large bowl, combine the eggs, oats, green pepper, celery, onion and salt. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well. Shape into eight oval patties. In a large skillet, brown patties on both sides.
- Place patties in an ungreased 13x9x2" baking dish. Combine the soup, water and pepper; pour over beef. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until the meat is no long pink. 8 servings.
