BackstoryWe first baked the salmon as directed in most cook books: 10 minutes for 1 inch thickness at a high oven temperature. But found that wasn't accurate, and the oven was too hot for the pesto sauce. So we lowered the temperature and extended the cooking time. We also love pesto, so we spread more than 3-4 tsp. Perfect
- 1/2 pound fresh salmon
- 3-4 tsp basil pesto sauce/spread
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place salmon in glass baking dish. Spread pesto sauce over salmon.
