Banana, Fruit Oat Bars

Why I Love This Recipe

3 large ripe bananas

3 Cups traditional oats (we used large flakes)

1/2 Cup chopped dried fruit

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract


Ingredients You'll Need

3 large ripe bananas
3 Cups traditional oats (we used large flakes)
1/2 Cup chopped dried fruit
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract


Directions

1. Preheat oven to 325F (160C)


2. Grease 9x13 inch cake pan and line with parchment paper, cover about 1 inch up the sides of the pan


3. Mash bananas until smooth


4. Add fruit, cinnamon, and vanilla and stir well


5. Spoon into prepared pan and press evenly into pan


6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden


7. Cool completely then cut into small bars


*You can experiment and try different things like chocolate chips instead of dried fruit.
