Banana Cake with Lemon Icing
1/2 cup butter -- softened
1 1/4 cups sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
4 tablespoons sour cream
1 cup bananas -- mashed
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour or cake flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Lemon Butter Frosting
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease an 8" square pan.
In medium bowl, cream butter and sugar with electric mixer.
Add eggs, and beat until very light. Mix baking soda with sour cream and add to butter
Add bananas, flour, salt and vanilla. Mix well.
Bake in prepared pan 30-35 minutes until done.
Remove from oven and cool completely.
Frost with lemon butter frosting.
