Why I Love This Recipe

This is a family recipe passed down from generations. In my family it's not a party unless the banana pudding has arrived. This is a quick and easy way to have a quick, satisfying dessert.

Ingredients You'll Need

1 lb of yellow bananas, thinly sliced
2 boxes of Nilla wafers
1 box of Jello instant Banana Pudding
1 cup of half and half
1 cup of milk
1 14oz can of sweet condensed milk
1 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla flavoring
2 tubs 8oz of cool whip
1 lemon

Directions

Thinly slice bananas and set them in freshly squeezed lemon juice.
In a large bowl add package of banana cream pudding
Add 1 cup of half and half
1 cup of milk
Add vanilla extract
Stir until completely blended. Pudding should be setting.
Add 1 can of sweet condensed milk
Add 1 tub of cool whip.
Fold in slowly
Set in refrigerator for 2 hours.
Arrange Nilla wafers in bottom of bowl or shallow pan.
Then add a dollop of pudding and spread evenly over the cookies.
Add bananas on top of the pudding.
Repeat the steps, until finished.
Add cool whip on top
Crunch remaining cookies on top of cool whip.
Set in refrigerator for 1 hr. to chill
Enjoy!
