BANANA SPLIT CHEESECAKE

Ingredients

  • Base
  • 1/2 Cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 Cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 Cup margarine or butter
  • pinch of salt
  • Filling
  • 1 Cup whipped cream (we used canned "Gay Lea real whipped cream")
  • 1 Cup icing sugar (a.k.a powered sugar)
  • 1-250 gram (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • Topping
  • 1 can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 4 bananas, sliced
  • Fresh strawberries, sliced, as many as you want

Directions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350F (175C)
  • 2. Combine base ingredients and pat into bottom of 9x13 inch pan. Base will be very thin
  • 3. Bake base for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool completely
  • 4. Combine filling ingredients and spread over base. Filling layer will be very thin
  • 5. Layer toppings over filling, in order listed
  • 6. Chill before serving
