Banana buttered Bunuelos

Serves | Prep Time 45 minutes | Cook Time

Ingredients

250 gr Wheat Flour
100 gr of Sugar + 15gr sugar to sprinkle
5g salt
5g Baking Powder
65g Shortening
1 lt Vegetable Oil
20gr powder cinnamon
1 cup of warm water
50 ml KANTÉ Amber Agave Syrup
2 grown bananas
50 gr butter


Mix the wheat flour with half of the sugar, the baking powder, shortening, salt and the warm water with KANTÉ Vanilla extract with Agave Syrup, knead the dough until you get an elastic but firm mass.


Let it rest for 30 minutes.


Once rested, take small pieces (golf size balls) of dough, stretch it with a rolling pin until you get a flat circle and fry it both sided until it's crunchy.



On a bowl, mix the remaining sugar with the cinammon and sprinkle it over the freshly fried bunuelos.



To make the buttered bananas;


Chop the banana into slices and sautee it on a pan with butter and sugar until it's caramelyzed. Add a dash of KANTÉ Amber Agave Syrup.
