Beef & Bean Biscuit Roundup
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 cup barbecue sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 (16-ounce) can baked beans
1 (10-ounce) tube refrigerated biscuits
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a skillet, brown ground beef and onion. Drain beef and onion. Stir in barbecue sauce, brown sugar and baked beans. Heat until bubbly. Pour into a 2 1/2-quart casserole dish.
Separate biscuit dough into 10 biscuits and cut each biscuit in half diagonally. Place biscuits, cut side down, over hot meat mixture around edge of dish. Sprinkle cheese over biscuits.
Bake for 22 to 27 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown.
