Why I Love This Recipe


Ingredients You'll Need

1 pkg. (9 oz.) frozen
artichoke hearts
3 Tbsp. butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 lb. round steak, cut in
1-inch cubes
2 onions, sliced
1/2 c. red wine (cooking wine
can also be used)
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
chopped fresh parsley


Directions

Cook frozen artichoke hearts according to package


directions. Rinse, drain, cut in quarters and set aside. In a medium skillet melt butter. Add garlic and meat. When meat is browned, add the onion and saute until onion is tender. Place


meat, garlic and onion into a casserole dish. Add wine, tomato sauce and artichoke hearts to casserole dish. Stir until ingredients are blended. Bake, uncovered, in a 325 degrees oven for 35 minutes or until meat is tender. When done, garnish with the fresh parsley.
