BEEF AND BROCOLLI

Ingredients

  • 2 bags of rice
  • 3T corn starch (9T flour)
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1t garlic powder
  • 1T oil
  • 2T brown sugar
  • 1t ginger
  • 1 bag frozen broccoli
  • chopped onion
  • steak

Directions

  • Combine 1T corn starch (3T flour), soy sauce and garlic powder in bowl; add steak strips and coat. Let stand. Start water for rice. Heat 1/2T oil in skillet. Add steak and cook until tender. Remove. Heat 1/2T oil; add broccoli and onion. Cook until tender. Stir together 1/2c water, 2T corn starch (6T flour), ginger and brown sugar; add to pan. Add beef to mixture in pan. Bring to boil; cook until thickened.
