BERRY CRUMBLE

Ingredients

  • 1 bag frozen berries (or enough to halfway fill a 9x13 inch pan)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 Cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 Cup oats
  • 1 Cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 8 Tablespoons (1/2 Cup) butter or margarine, room tempurature

Directions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 375F (175C)
  • 2. Put the berries in a 9x13 inch pan. Pour vanilla on the berries and gently mix and spread evenly around the pan
  • 3. In a medium to large bowl, stir together the flour, oats, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  • 4. Using 2 forks or knives, or a pasty cutter, mix the butter into the dry ingredients until lumpy and coarse
  • 5. Sprinkle mixture evenly over the berries
  • 6. Bake for 35-40 minutes until topping is browned and crunchy
