BEST BISCUITS EVER!!!!

 

  • Cooking Time: 17 min
  • Servings: 12-14
  • Preparation Time: 10 min`

Ingredients

  • 2 c flour
  • 4tsp bk.pwd.
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cream of tartar (a must)
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1 slightly beaten egg
  • 2/3 c milk

Directions

  • 1) Mix dry ingredients.
  • 2) Cut in margarine.
  • 3)Add egg & milk.
  • 4)Mix lightly with fork. (do not knead)
  • 5)Roll out on floured board (1in thick)
  • 6)Cut out with cookie cutter.
  • 7)Place on cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  • 8)Bake 450 - 17 min
  • ENJOY!!!!!

This is my mother's recipe; easy to make and LOW in cholesterol!!!!!(and I'm 70ish!!)
