BackstoryI got this recipe from my mother. Its a very good icing. It's easy to make. It's much easier than the powder sugar, and butter frosting. Too offset the cream cheese taste, add more flavoring of any desired flavor.
- 1 lb of powder sugar
- 8 oz. of cream cheese about room temperature
- 1/4 cup of butter at room temperature
- 1 tsp of vanilla
- Slowly add the powder sugar, and the cream cheese, and butter. Do not add the powder sugar all at once. It will make your working area look like winter wonder land if you're using a power mixer.
