Why I Love This Recipe

My dad RIP always made this Mac Salad recipe for every get together. So now its time for us younger ones to learn his secrets! So here they are :) (Always tasted better when he made it though)

Ingredients You'll Need

2 lbs Elbow Macaroni
30 - 45+ oz's Miracle Whip
12 Hard Boiled Eggs
2 med onions
1/2 large Green Pepper
1/2 large Stalk of Celery
Salt

Directions

Hard boil eggs then place in cold water 'till ready to use

Put water on to boil for macaroni

While waiting for water to boil mince onions, pepper and celery and place in a large mixing bowl that'll hold 2 lbs macaroni

Cook macaroni El'dente (more towards the chewy than soggy side)

Cool in cold water

While cooling cut up eggs and add to mixing bowl w/ veggies and mix well

Add strained macaroni and mix well w/egg and veggie mix

Add Mayo (Miracle Whip)

Add salt to taste (this salad seems to soak up salt so about an hour or 2 after you put in fridge taste again and add more salt if needed)

Put in fridge several hours covered w/saran wrap or tin foil to cool and let flavors blend
