Ingredients

2 c. flour
3 t, baking powder
1t. salt
4 T. Shortening
3/4 c milk


Mix flour, baking powder & salt. Cut in shortening until resembles coarse meal. Add milk & mix lightly . Pat dough, on floured wax paper, to 3/4 inch thickness. Cut into biscuits & place touching, in greased pan. Bake at 425 degree about 15 minutes.



For lighter, fluffier biscuits, handle as little as possible. Don't knead or roll.
