2 clamshell blackberries
zest from 2 lemons
1 cup sugar
1 bottle skyy vodka 750 ml
in saucepan, combine blackberries, lemon zest, and sugar
simmer until sugar is completely dissolved
Let cool completely
filter through cheesecloth, folded over 5 or 6 times to make sure nothing but syrup gets through
combine with vodka and keep in cool dark place for about a month before drinking
keep in freezer and serve over ice - but be careful, this stuff is potent!

I went to a bar in san jose and they were known for making their own infused vodkas - I thought I would give it a try - and ended up giving it away for Christmas presents and it was a hit!
