Why I Love This Recipe


Ingredients You'll Need

4 large baking potatoes, peeled and sliced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons garlic, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
6 ounces crumbled bleu cheese
2 slices bread, coarsely crumbled


Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine potatoes, cream, milk, garlic, salt, pepper, nutmeg and half of the bleu cheese in a large saucepan. Simmer 5-7 minutes, stiriring occasionally. Spoon into 8x8x2" baking dish. Top with remaining cheese and the crumbs. Bake in 350 degree oven 35-40 minutes until potatoes are fork tender and top is brown
