BLUEBERRY SAUCE

 

  • Cooking Time: 15
  • Servings: 3 cups
  • Preparation Time: 5

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 3 tbls lemon juice
  • 2 tbls cornstarch
  • Dash of salt
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries

Directions

  • In saucepan combine sugar, cornstarch, nutmeg and salt
  • Gradually stir in water
  • Cook and stir until mixture thickens and boils
  • Cook 2 minutes more
  • Add blueberries and return to boiling
  • Remove from heat
  • Stir in lemon juice
  • Cool
