Bourbon Sweet Potatoes
4 large sweet potatoes
1/2 cup brown sugar (or to taste)
1/4 cup butter (or to taste)
1/4 cup cream (or to taste)
Bourbon to taste
Peel and cut sweet potatoes into quarters or eights, depending on size
Boil sweet potatoes for 15-20 mins
Mash em - add some sugar, butter, cream, and bourbon to taste
Meanwhile, toast your pecans in a frying pan, then toss some more brown sugar, butter and some more bourbon
Put mashed potato mixture in a casserole dish and top with the candied-boozed up pecans
Bake in 350 oven for 20 mins if you are doing this right away, or you can make ahead of time and pop in the oven to heat.
