Braised leeks in wine and tomatoes
1 tablespoon of olive oil
100 grams of smoked bacon in cubes
4 leeks, cleaned and in pieces of 5 cm long
2 cloves of garlic, chopped
1 teaspoon of dried thyme
2 teaspoons of tomatopaste
3 ripe tomatoes, skinned and cut into pieces
200 ml. white wine
freshly grated pepper
1 Heat the oil and fry the bacon until crunchy, add leeks, garlic and thyme and fry on a low heat for a few minutes.
2 Add tomatopaste and tomatoes and fry another few minutes
3 Add wine and bring to the boil
4 Turn the heat low and simmer uncovered for about 20 minutes.
5 Add salt and pepper to taste
Serve with pork chops
