Bread Pudding

Ingredients

4 large eggs
2 cups milk (NOT skim)
3/4 c. heavy cream
5 cups stale French bread, cut into 1" cubes (stay uniform in size!)
2 teaspoons vanilla (extract or paste)
~1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate (chopped or morsels)
1/4 c. pecans/walnuts, chopped


Beat eggs well with milk and add cinnamon, vanilla and sugar.


Add bread and let soak up liquid.


Add chocolate, nuts, cream and raisins.


Pour into baking pan and bake in a water bath in 350F for one hour, until golden.
