Breakfast Grits Casserole for a Crowd
3 cups Quick Cooking Grits (not instant grits)
12 cups water
8 eggs, slightly beaten
3 pounds Sharp Cheese - shredded
1 onion, chopped
8 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon seasoning salt
½ teaspoon Tabasco sauce
½ teaspoon Cayenne pepper
3 cups butter + 6 sticks butter, cut into slices
1. Bring water to boiling, than add grits to boiling water and cook for 5 minutes or until water is absorbed.
2. Stir in slices of butter and all other ingredients; mix together well.
3. Spray a 19½ x 12½ x 3 inch baking pan with cooking spray.
4. Pour grits mixture in the baking pan and bake for 1 hour or until top is golden and bubbly.

Our Senior Pastor was born in Louisville, Kentucky and raised in Joplin, Missouri so one time for our monthly men's breakfasts I decided to make the following breakfast grits casserole which was hit by everyone.
