4 cube steaks (1-1/2 lb.)
1/4 cup butter, softened
1 tbsp. chopped onion
1/8 tsp. chili powder
4 slices bread (French is recommended)
Hickory smoked salt
Blend butter, onion and chili powder until well mixed. Toast the bread under a boiler being careful not to burn it. Spread the seasoned butter on one side.
Fry, broil or grill the steaks until done to your liking and season lightly with the salt and pepper. Roll loosely and place on the buttered toast. Spread the remaining seasoned butter lightly over the top of each steak. Add tomato slices and serve with eggs prepared anyway you like them
