Broccoli Powerhouse

Ingredients

1 head broccoli, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 Tbs flax seeds
Tumeric, to taste


1. Steam the broccoli


2. Sprinkle it with flax seeds


3. Gently dust with tumeric, and adjust to taste. I usually use about 1/2 tsp to start.

Notes

Broccoli, part of the cruciferous family, has been shown to help reduce the risk of developing cancer. Tumeric, too, is now being studied for its health properties.

This is a simple side dish with that packs a healthy punch!
