Broccoli and Raisin Salad

Why I Love This Recipe
I make this salad often and never get tired of it.
It is portable, stays fresh in the fridge for a few days.
It is always well received when taken to potlucks or picnics.
Ingredients You'll Need
2 cups chopped broccoli
3/4 cup grated carrot
1/4 cup chopped red onion
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
1/4 cup raisins
1 - 2 oranges
2 Tbsp olive oil
1 Tbsp maple syrup
or 1-2 dates
Add a small amount of soaked cashews to your dressing if you want it creamy.
Sprinkle in hemp hearts, caraway or sesame seeds.
Purple cabbage or diced up red pepper will go well in this type of salad.
Toss salad ingredients in a good size bowl.
Whiz dressing ingredients until smooth.
Pour over salad, stir, chill and serve.
