2 m this recipe, the broth is your grease & liquid. 2t"lumps" up easier so you may need to use your strainer.
Beat about 3T. flour into 1c. broth. Pour into remaining hot broth & blend Salt & pepper. 2 f too thin, heat more flour into a little bit of water- about 1/2 c. & stir in 2 f too thick , just stir in more water.
* 2 f you have plenty of time, which 2 never do, you can chill broth till grease seperates & hardens on top. Skim grease off & place in pan. Stir flour into melted & hot grease. Add remaining broth & mix well. Simmer until thickened. Salt & Pepper. Use water for thinning or thickening.
