Brown Butter Icing
1 stick butter
1 lb powdered sugar
1/4 cup milk
heat butter slowly in saucepan until it bubbles up, and is foamy, then settles down and is lightly brown. REMOVE AT ONCE. Watch carefully to prevent over-browning. Browning takes only 3-5 minutes.
pour browned butter over powdered sugar in large bowl. mix until crumbly.
3. drizzle milk over. blend til smooth. add 1-2 teaspoons ,till spreadable.
Pairs Well With
Easy and very good. You always have butter milk and powdered sugar on hand.
