BROWN SUGAR PECANS

Ingredients

  • 16 oz. pecan halves
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Directions

  • Spread nuts on a foil lined cookie sheet
  • Melt butter in a sasucepan over medium heat
  • Add sugar, vanilla, and salt and stir one minute, then remove from heat
  • Pour over nuts, stirring to coat
  • Bake at 325 degrees for 25-30 minutes, stopping to stir halfway through
  • Remove from oven and spread onto wax paper to cool
