- 1/3 cup Unsalted Butter
- 3 cups Powdered Sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp Vanilla
- 5 tsp Whole Milk
- Pinch of Kosher Salt
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and continue to heat until butter turn a delicate brown color.
- Remove from heat and stir in the powdered sugar, vanilla and milk.
NotesI call this icing cause it isn't really cooked and it's made with powdered sugar like royal icing.
This is great on an Oatmeal Cake.
