- 2 cups baking mix (I use low-fat Bisquick)
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 2/3 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- Preheat waffle maker.
- Stir all ingredients together in a large bowl or large glass measuring cup (I use the 4 cup one). Pour batter on waffle iron, cook to desired doneness (stops steaming, or indicator on waffle iron tells you it's done).
- Serve with a dollop of raspberry jam.
