Buggy Bananas

Why I Love This Recipe
Ingredients You'll Need
1. 2 tablespoons sweetened flaked coconut
2. 1-2 drops food coloring of choice (optional)
3. 1 banana
4. 2 raisins
5. 1/4-1/2 tablespoon peanut butter, or other nut butter of choice
6. almond slivers
Directions
1. In a cereal-sized bowl, combine the flaked coconut with the food coloring if used. Stir until the coconut has absorbed the food color and is evenly tinted. 2. Slice the banana into 1/4 inch pieces. 3. Dip the top of each piece of banana into the coconut mixture. On a plate, arrange the coated banana slices, coconut side up, in a swirling pattern. 4. Dip a raisin in the peanut butter and "glue" the raisin "eye" to one side of the first banana slice that's coated. Repeat with other raisin. 5. Cut or break almond slivers in half. Dip one of the almond slivers into the peanut butter and "glue" it one behind the "eye" on the first banana slice. Repeat with the other almond slice. Dip the remaining almond slivers in the peanut butter and "glue" them to both sides of each banana slice.
