BULLGOGI

Ingredients

  • For 4 people:
  • 1.5 lbs. beef steak
  • 10 spoonfuls of soybean sauce
  • 4 tsps sugar
  • 2 onions
  • 8 cloves garlic
  • 4 tsp sake (or dry sherry)
  • 2 grain tsp sesame
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp of soybean or canola oil

Directions

  • Cut the steak into small quarters. Dice the onions and garlic and mix all ingredients (except the soybean oil) in an large bowl. Let set for 2 hours. Heat oil in a frying pan; cook the meat for about 2 minutes or until browned. Mushrooms and/or rice make a nice addition to the meal.
