2 tbsp butter
4 tart apples, peeled, cored and
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer. Cover and simmer until apples are tender, about 15-20 minutes. If desired, thicken sauce with cornstarch/water.
