- Cooking Time:

- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vinegar
- 1 tsp. corn starch
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 1/4 Cup water
- Combine all ingredients and cook until it reaches the desired thickness.
- Really rich -- use on "real" ice cream or drizzled on cakes or in an apple pie before baking.
- Yields 1 1/2 cups.
NotesAs I am diabetic I substitute the Whey Low golden for the brown sugar. Whey Low is quite expensive but this golden is as good as brown and is a great substitute.
