CHERRY POUND CAKE

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 pkg (8oz) cream cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups white sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp almond
  • 1 cup maraschino cherries drained and chopped
  • 1/4 cup all purpose flour

Directions

  • Mix together flour,baking powder and salt. set aside In a large bowl , cream together butter,cream cheese,and sugar until light ans fluffy. Beat in eggs 1 at a time. stir in both flavorings . Beat in the flour mixture , mixing just unti blended . Roll cheeries in the 1/4 cup of flour then fold into batter. Spread into prepared bundt pan bake at 325 for 1 hour 20 minutes
