Hi Maizey - you have awesome recipes! I have a question about your Cream Cheese Dainties recipe since I am going to try them for a cookie swap I am attending next week. Can you make them and just leave out the crushed rice crispies? I have tried different versions to get that delicate flavor I remember my best friend's mom always made Swedish Spritz cookies with the old fashioned metal press. I can not figure out why mine never taste as wonderful as hers and I think she might have used a tiny bit of fine grated lemon rind...or orange rind? I know she didnt use the rice crispies...but like you, she used some almond and I think some vanilla extract. Well, I am going to try your recipe using red and green cherry halves to top each one, as you suggested and just leave out the rice crispies! Thanks!
