CRISPY FISH FRY
1 Cup Flour
1 Cup Cornmeal
1 Cup Crushed Crackers(I used Ritz and Saltine)
Garlic powder,onion powder and cayenne to taste
Salt and Pepper to taste
1 tsp Paprika for color
Put all the ingredients in a zip lock bag.
Add a few fillets at a time to coat the fish.
Saute the fillets in butter in a heavy pan over medium heat until they are crispy outside and with a tender, flaky interior
Pairs Well With
This is great for rainbow trout, herring, pickerel (walleye) or smelts. I guess any fish you would pan fry.
