Why I Love This Recipe

I've used this recipe for dessert around the campfire for several years.


Ingredients You'll Need

2 buttermilk biscuits
1 13oz can of fruit in heavy syrup (sliced peaches are my fave)
1/2 cup dried cranberries or raisins
pinch of each: cinnamon, nutmeg & cardamom


Directions

Empty can of fruit, dried fruit and spices in a skillet. Cook over medium heat until bubbling and dried fruit has softened.


Split the biscuits into individual bowls and spoon hot fruit & sauce over top. Let it soak (and cool down a little) for a minute, then dig in!


I've used this recipe for dessert around the campfire for several years.
