- 1 lb pecan halves
- 2 egg whites
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 1/2 cup butter
- Bake pecans at 325 degrees for 8-10 minutes to toast. Cool.
- Beat egg whites until still. Fold sugar, salt, and pecans into egg whites. Grease cookie sheet with butter and spread pecans on sheet.
- Bake 30 minutes at 325, stirring frequently.
- Cool for few hours before eating.
