CANDY CANE CAKE

Ingredients

  • 1 box white cake mix
  • 1/2 tsp red food color
  • 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
  • 1 tub of Cream Cheese Icing
  • Crushed candy canes

Directions

  • Heat oven to 325 degrees.* Grease and flour a 12 cup bundt pan. Make cake mix as directed on box. Pour 2 cups batter into pan. Into bowl, pour 3/4 cup batter, stir in food color and peppermint extract. Pour pink batter over white batter in pan. Pour remaining white batter over pink batter.
  • Bake 42 min. or until done. Cool 10 min. Remove from pan to serving plate. Cool 1 hour. Spread icing over cake, allowing some to drizzle down side and then top with crushed candy canes.
