1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
2 tablespoons milk
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
In saucepan, melt butter. Add brown sugar; cook over low heat 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Add milk and continue cooking until mixture comes to a boil. Remove from heat. Gradually add powdered sugar. Add vanilla and mix well. If necessary, thin with a few drops of milk.
