I take the easy way out and purchase frozen cinnamon rolls. It's the caramel sauce that makes these rolls soo delicious! For the sauce heat the following in a saucepan until melted and combined:


  • 1/2 C sugar
  • 1/2 C brown sugar
  • 1/2 C butter
  • 3/4 C vanilla ice cream


  • This caramel stays gooey and does not harden up like others. The recipe indicates this is enough caramel sauce for a 9X13 pan full of risen caramel rolls. I loove caramel, so I use this amount with a 8X8 pan.
