Why I Love This Recipe

The spicy and sweet flavors from the islands right in your own kitchen. This dish comes together so well. Don't be afraid to try blackening your fish with this jerk seasoning. Remember, blackening does NOT mean burnt, it just means blackened... seared into the meat/fish

Ingredients You'll Need

2 Salmon Filets (skin removed, 4-8 oz depending on appetite)
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
Blackening Spice - Granulated Garlic, Salt, Dried Oregano, Black Pepper, Crushed Red Pepper
Cilantro Lime Brown Rice
Strawberry, Mango, Pineapple Salsa
Black Bean Mango Salad

Directions

Coat salmon in blackening spice

In saute pan over medium high heat, add salmon.

Saute for approx 3 minutes per side, taking care not to burn salmon.

Remove from pan and plate with rice, salad, and salsa
