5 slices bacon (cut into 1" pieces)
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup sliced carrots
1 lb Kielbasa (cut into bite-sized pieces)
1/2 lb boneless chicken breast (1" pieces)
1/4 cup dry white wine
1 or 2 cans (16oz) white beans
1 can (16 oz) diced tomatoes (drained)
3/4 cup beef broth
1 T Worcestershire sauce
1 T Basil
1/4 t Thyme
In large skillet cook bacon until crisp, move to paper towel. To drippings add onion and carrots, saute until slightly brown. REmove, pour off fat. Add wine to pan, heat until boiling. Return all indgredients and add the following: beans, tomatoes, beef broth, worcestershire, basil and thyme. Simmer uncovered for 10 minutes.

This is a recipe from my mom, I think she got it from the newspaper. It's delish, full of flavor. Great on a cold day.
