Celery Soup

Ingredients

6 cups minced celery,leaves and all
2 1/2 cups chicken stock
2 cups water
1 slice onion, diced small
2 tablespoons. butter
3 tablespoons flour
2 cup milk
1 cup cream
Salt and pepper to taste
White Wine to taste ( opt)


Combine celery, chicken stock and 2 cups boiling water in saucepan; simmer until celery is tender. Saute onion in butter; blend in flour. Stir in milk; cook, stirring, until thick. Add celery mixture and cream; season with salt and pepper. Process in Immersion blender until its smooth.add wine if you want, to taste. Serve warm

I recently have been battling a very bad sore throat and an friend told me to in her Homeopathic book it said to eat Celery and plain yogurt so after a couple of days eating celery I was done with that so I made this recipe. was very good
