Cheddar Cheese Ball
1.5 lb sharp or extra sharp cheddar
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. dry mustard
chopped onion and parsley
2 Tbs. soft butter
A dash of Tabasco
A Dash of Worchester sauce
1/4 cup ketchup
1/3 cup sherry
Grate cheese into a bowl and then add all ingredients.
Mix very well till completely blended-it will be hard to mix.
Roll/form into a ball and roll in finely chopped pecans.
This recipe makes 2 balls.
You should refigerate the balls after preparing them but taken them out 30 min to 1 hour before serving to soften em up a little.
Serve with Triscuits or similar type cracker.
You can serve it as is on its own as a cheese ball or serve it in a crock.
