Cheddar Cheese Biscuits
2 c all purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 c shredded cheddar cheese
1/3 c margarine
1 c buttermilk
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Cut in cheese and margarine until crumbly.
Add buttermilk; stir just until moistened.
Turn onto lightly floured surface and knead 8-10 times.
Pat out to 1/2 inch thickness, cut with2 1/2 inch biscuit cutter.
Place on an ungreased baking sheet.
Bake at 425 for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
