Cheese Bread

Ingredients

1 - 16 oz. loaf unsliced
French bread
5 - 1 oz. slices swiss cheese,
halved
2 Tbslps. butter, softened
1 tsp. dried minced onion
1/2 tsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
1/8 tsp. seasoned salt


Cut the bread into 10 slices, cutting to but not through bottom crust. Evenly divide cheese between slices of bread.


In a small bowl, stir together butter, onion, lemon juice, mustard and salt. Brush mixture over tops and sides of bread. Place the bread on a 20 x 12 inch piece of foil. bring foil up


around bread, leaving just the top of the bread exposed. Place loaf on a baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and top is golden brown. Served immediately.


Makes 10 servings.
