This is a recipe from 1970's everyone use to bring them to bridal showers.


  • 2 pkg 8 oz creme cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 can of pie filling.I use about 3/4 of can


  • Beat cream cheese,egg,vanilla,sugar together until smooth,take 20 vanilla wafers and put each in a foil cupcake holder,place in a muffin tin.put one to two tbls.of cream cheese filling on top of each wafer.
  • Bake 15-18 minutes at 375.
  • cool, top each tart with one tbsp. of pie filling then chill.
